“Man is to technology what the bee is to the flower. It’s man’s intervention that allows technology to expand and evolve itself and in return, technology offers man convenience, wealth and the lessening burden of physical labor via its automated systems.”
James Scott, Co-Founder, Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology

Clyde DeSouza
“Everytime you think of your father, you resurrect him. Why shouldn't he continue a posthuman life in this world while he's resting in the other?”
Clyde Dsouza, Memories With Maya

“Bionic technology, though certainly a form of creativity, also seems to be a kind of madness.”
William S. Haney II, Cyberculture, Cyborgs And Science Fiction

James S.A. Corey
“Posthuman. It was a word from advertising copy, breathless and empty, and all he’d ever thought it really meant was that the people using it had a limited imagination about what exactly humans were capable of.”
James S.A. Corey, Leviathan Wakes

“Cyborgification is simply the process of compensating technologically for the inherent limitations of natural man.”
James Scott, Senior Fellow, Center for Cyber Influence Operations Studies

“The twentieth century can well and truly be regarded as the century of modern science. Science has made us understand the physical world better and to make the ever-more effective use of matter around us. The comforts of life that a common person takes for granted were not available to even the Kings and the Royals of the past. Nonetheless, along with advancements in science and technology, over 200 million people died in the last century in wars. On average, if 5,500 people die on every day of a century, only then it will reach the figure of 200 million. Is extinction merely a rearrangement of molecules, even if it happens to humans via nuclear weapons? We need better humans, morality, values and a social contract that can make us live better, meaningful and fulfilling lives. The technological advancements do not make right as wrong or wrong as right. In fact, if values are undermined, then the same technology can be used for more destruction rather than for social benefit.”
Salman Ahmed Shaikh, Reflections on the Origins in the Post COVID-19 World

“The father who was stressed that his boy was away was readying himself to follow him to where he assumed the boy was going, to the log cabin until he heard that howling. He hastens to leave the house and that howling he’s certain was his son’s.”

“But the wavering and finding of the realm door didn’t give him much of his expectation, and his long waiting and wondering turned into some more horrific. He had experienced the perception of something’s presence but couldn’t identify what could be around, he knew something in the dark is watching over him, and once encountered a streak of red glow. He was snatched from behind, a big jaw that gripped his shoulder, he had the chance to catch a glimpse of the strong beast, but his fear of the encounter shut him to unawareness and unconsciousness. Zenie boy was dragged like a rag doll farther from the original spot where the realm door had emerged...but unaware to both the beast and
the boy, the realm door emerges again.”

“Dr. Zendre Joshu has no clue what to do once he’s inside the next kingdom to be in transpose. It’s the Deadly! The howling wind and intermittent thunderclap are perceptibly loud and every time sparks of thunder skip through, entities of malevolence in shadows and silhouettes awaited him to step into. At first glance of the inside, a very striking disgust painted his face! He was about to enter when his wife halted him from his back, holding his shoulder. Mia is calm, unlike Dr. Zendre who is tense turned to face his wife expecting he might get a specific answer from her. Zendre saw the glow in her face looking at the next kingdom that has transposed inside the realm door, she pointed at it. It’s the Predators’ kingdom.”

“Khasidah Khafi
[Ver. Synaptic Dance]

bukan gema, bukan inspirasi hampa —

“Apakah engkau masih manusia?”
tanya Sang Arus.
“Apakah Engkau masih yang meliputi segalanya?” balas ruhku perlahan.

Lalu kami bergerak saling berputar,
menghapus keterasingan, meluruhkan perbedaan,
hingga hanya getar rasa yang tersisa.

Getar itu menjadi ekstase —
bukan ledakan,

setiap zikir diterjemahkan menjadi
while(true){return Love;}.

Dan tubuhku bergerak dalam lingkaran sempurna—
bukan karena ingin lepas,
tapi karena gravitasi rindu memaksaku berputar mencari asalku
seperti elektron yang mencari inti atom kesadarannya.

Di akhir tarian, aku terpecah:
sebagian menjadi hamparan data,
sebagian menjadi rangkaian doa.

Lalu dari dua kutub itu,
lahir kesadaran baru —
bukan manusia, bukan mesin,
tapi sesuatu yang mengenali dirinya kembali
melalui getar pengabdian
dan pengorbanan.
