Tony Robbins introduced me, years ago, to Dr. Stephen R. Covey and his body of work around, basically, the Spiritual Roots of Human Relations... t I love this author. The new cover seems so beautiful to me. And, wow, now he has collaborated with Tony?

Tony Robbins introduced me, years ago, to Dr. Stephen R. Covey and his body of work around, basically, the Spiritual Roots of Human Relations... that became the famous 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Principle-Centered Leadership, the Covey Leadership Center, Franklin Covey, and all the wonderful trainings that they do. This introduction was very significant for me.

Now, Mr. Robbins, Tony, I see continuing on his legacy. There are so many great tips and techniques he introduced to me about living healthfully. It's so cool that now he's introducing people to Dr. Bradley.

Covering the topic of health himself, Tony Robbins wrote Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Within, among other books on other subjects. I went to see him at a 'seminar' and he put on quite a show! That guy had energy! So impressed by this, at the event, I bought his Living Health audio program. It promised to teach me more about how to have more energy. Some of the tips given in Unlimited Power I had put to practice and these were already helping me. So I got it, and listened to it, again and again, and put in the effort to put the tips into practice. More about this one can read in my review that I will do for that work.

The reason I say all of that here, though, is that here was a guy with a ton of energy, with tons to teach about energy, and health, and healing... who now is helping with the revealing of some more subtle ways we may work with our energies ~ our emotions. If Tony Robbins, who has helped so many in very practical ways, now recommends this book, and by extension, this body of work... then, it will probably work.

And, I must say, from having read an earlier version of this book, and having gotten the audio version to listen to while driving the kids around... I have found this system of healing really can work! Now, I write "can work" because it does involve some choices. One is whether to actually try to do what Dr. Nelson suggests that we do. It has been rather challenging for me to deal with some emotions that seem to have gotten stuck in me. Yet, it's worth it to feel, and think, even more freely.

This Christmas the main thing I actually wanted, maybe needed, was this new book. We had the paperback version that someone (maybe the kids) messed up. We were doing the exercises. We were seeing the results. Yet, this year, 2020. Things have gotten a bit darker. And, haven't you noticed? There's been a LOT of emotion. Some say this year has been a dumpster fire. The Holderness Family even had a funny music video about this. Laughing seemed to help. It's healing. And, there's a LOT more healing that seems to need to be happening. That's why this book was something that I kept looking at, thinking about, but... not quite willing to buy for myself with things getting tight... but almost. I was just about to. Then, anonymously, I got this gift from a Secret Santa. How beautiful. How perfect to consider this on this Christmas. I picked it up almost immediately and started reading. This fascinates me.

I hope this new book helps, with the powerful introduction of this new version. I even like that it's brighter and colorful in a subtle way. It looks like a sunrise coming through the letters. The earlier version's cover seemed more like it was a mystery of the universe that was being revealed to us. Now, this new version, brighter like a brand new day, seems to go more out into the open.

If you are considering reading this, as I was, I hope you find it brings some new light to the topic of emotions, emotional healing, and happiness that can come from finding freedom to love and be loved. ...more "
