I get that the writer is confronting the fact that as a black character Jade is gonna meet some racist bitches along the way (and I appreciate she didn’t ignore what comes with her race) I just wish sometimes black characters could exist without all the extra shit we have to deal with. So like don’t ignore it, but it doesn’t need to be heavy handed
