She’d appreciated reading again—before the list, it had been so long since she’d sat down and just allowed herself to get lost in a book. Life felt too busy, it had felt like an indulgence she couldn’t afford.
My thoughts exactly! I am happy to have rediscovered reading for myself again and changed this mindset. Reading is not an indulgence, it is essential to my well being. It has also been the book lists provided by key groups in my life that got me going again, too.
