Anyhow, what can I say about this work? Well, for starters, it really took me by surprise in a good way. 'Cause by judging it from the cover and title alone, I thought the story was going to be about a deadbeat who just mooches off from the government to buy meals that he wants from time to time. However, it ended up being something different than that.

As the story is literally about a guy who is jobless, who recently got dumped by his girlfriend of 7 years. "So he is jobless?" Yes, but that is not the point. The story from what I read so far is about our MC having flashbacks with certain meals and foods that he eats. And every time he eats those foods he gets reminded of certain memories of that 7 year relationship he had. Basically, from what I gathered from this, the author is trying to build and write a story for the MC to develop through those flashbacks he gets from his meals he eats. Showing what he did wrong for him to get dumped by his girlfriend. And it is through these memories that he realizes where he messed up to become a better person.

Basically, the story is making him realize through the meals on what he did wrong throughout those 7 years within his relationship, and to be honest, the character shows signs of wanting to improve himself. And I believe as the story progresses he will be back with his ex-girlfriend, as the ex-girlfriend (spoiler alert) still has feelings for him and only decided to break up with him from his immature behavior of not having a job or acting like a irresponsible inconsiderate adult. Meaning, this is a story of romantic redemption. With food...

Is very interesting and somewhat realistic to me, because most social memories I have with people, mainly involves through having meals and such. And I guess having certain flavors back into your brain triggers flashbacks of certain moments that you had forgotten for a while in the back of your head.

Basically, if you like food and are also interested in romance, I recommend reading this. As in my honest opinion, this is definitely a romance/slice of life genre with food involved. Like the food drawings are the most well drawn in this story, and I think for good reason, as it is in the title of this webtoon.
