So I chapter page skimmed … all of which seemed repetitive and boring as shit.

The last chapter was, unsurprisingly, shit.

If anything, it just confirmed what a mess this book, this series is.

It’s clear the authors’ intentions for her to be a “badass boss bitch” fmc, but it fell so far off the track.. like her fucking cocked hip. (And expression and pose has just now become a peeve of mine, BC OF THIS SHIT WRITING)

I hate this fmc. I hate everything about her. And I hate the way she’s written. This bitch has cocked her fucking hip so many times, my mental image of her has become a twisted gnarled branch. I almost said twig, but every fucking character describes her as being big and muscular, but pretty???

I can’t pinpoint what it is that’s bothering me rn bc I’m mostly just annoyed at how this started, And, how it’s going so far.

So far it’s a bit meh but not enough to make me put it down. The only thing I find extremely annoying is the past and present tense back and forth in the writing. It’s in first person saying “I, me, my” but also said things like “we stared at each other” when it’s something she’s actively doing. It just made my brain itch. It keeps happening.
