Wow. Ummm. This was incredibly enjoyable. Mc never did anything stupid or embarrassing and I appreciate that. I loved this. 4.5 stars. Rounded up. I’ll be reading the rest of the series.

I love everything and everyone in this book. Amick is my favorite.

Shadows dancing across the floor greet me as my eyes slowly blink open.
My fingers twitch against leather rather than soft sheets and the lamp a few feet from my face tells me I’m in the living room, not my bed.

I bet Mysenta means “my soul”

Things are heating up in all regards and I am very excited.

“None of you have anything useful to do today?”
My brothers continue their conversations as though they didn’t hear me. One by one, they’ve flocked in here and I’m confident it’s not because they desire my company.

Is Thayla the god of all? Like the one all powerful being because she’s equal in every category?

I want to be anywhere but here.
Creed takes a few steps toward me, but I turn on my heel and start sprinting back through the madness. The number of deadly creatures is dwindling significantly, and the never-ending flow seems to finally be stopping.

It gets better and better.

“I…think…you’re punishing me,” Lambrit wheezes out as he places his hands on his knees. Yemi, Rose, and I smirk at him while we catch our breaths like normal people. “Your jealousy is forcing you to treat me harshly and I don’t appreciate it.”

OMG I LOVE AMICK AND LAMBRIT. AMICK IS SO GONE FOR HER. And Lambrit is just the sweetest. Also wdym u shared and lived with the god of death. Amick who was it??? Creed or Riven??

“I’m not doing this with the two of you. Especially not here. You need to go back to wherever you’ve been assigned.”

I don’t like how men and men and women are females. It’s annoying.

The third repetition of three knocks at my door finally draws a sigh from my lips and I push from my desk to go answer it. I’ll never be able to focus with the constant interruptions.
I’m fully aware of who’s on the other side. Each of my brothers has a distinct knocking style and the one currently banging away is none of them.

A bubble surrounds him, Riven, the Chancellors, and me as moments from now begin to play out.
I hold on to him as time around us speeds forward, but everything moves in eerie silence. That’s the unfortunate downside of not having all my power released.
Sound.
I’m only able to watch a few moments in time of what may happen.

I like the angst but the mls’ better get their shit together and start worshiping Mc

On silent feet, I pad my way over to the first door and place my ear to the wood.
Nothing.
I give it a moment just to make sure before moving to the next and repeating the process. I hear them better now, but it’s still muffled nonsense.

I bet Mc is a domain or beginning god. Someone powerful hopefully

The fretful noise that was pouring out of my mouth abruptly ends when I land on my feet.
My body sways and my hands fly out to hold on to something for balance. The wood that appears beneath my palms is smooth, dark, polished, and I can’t stop staring at it in astonishment as I catch my breath.

If this god boy and any of the others won’t show it respect, I will.
Gasps echo through the area. I glance down at my feet and peek through my few loose strands to make sure I’m not doing it wrong. My heart jumps to my throat as a hot brush of air moves the hair from my face.

I like it so far. The premise is nice.
