So far this book is pretty cheesy in a Harlequin Romance novel way, but it’s not bad. The lead isn’t weak, but I’m so over her being described as so dainty and delicate every other sentence. It’s one of two things- the author wishes she were seen as dainty and delicate and it’s her desires coming through, or—— naw. That’s it. I can smell the insecurity and that’s not cute. You are perfect ma’am!

Another great start to a book that quickly descended into insta-love! Insta-love should be banned from all books!

Sometimes I want to play a game. I will tell you how to play so you can join me. Lay the most trifling character in the book across the bottom of the stairs and then roll 2 dozen bowling balls down the stairs insuring that you hit that jackass every time. If one ball doesn't hit then, start over from ball one.
