Let me guess. Chase is Ally’s father?

So far this book is pretty cheesy in a Harlequin Romance novel way, but it’s not bad. The lead isn’t weak, but I’m so over her being described as so dainty and delicate every other sentence. It’s one of two things- the author wishes she were seen as dainty and delicate and it’s her desires coming through, or—— naw. That’s it. I can smell the insecurity and that’s not cute. You are perfect ma’am!
