Repeating sentences: 1. "She didn't know why but there was something telling her that..." They don't know a lot in this book. 2. "There were something in her eyes telling her that..." 3. "Her face turned red."

There's no reason behind her actions. Sometimes she stands up for herselft, against all odds, and sometimes she don't. I don't get what's different.

It's okay to rape as long as it's your marital partner? REALLY NOT OKAY

And there it came, what I was waiting for. "Why had God allowed all this to happen?" Excuse me, you're the one who made this happen. Without even asking God about it first. Don't blame God for your mistakes. You're smart enough to know that.

I like parts about the farming. Wish it was more of that and less of how she has to marry a man whose touch she can't stand. That's horrible. Instead of asking God what to do, the God she claimes to believe in so much. And the way she came to that conclusion... Just by reasoning with herself. That's neither realistic nor eventful and fun to read about.

Don't know if it's the author's spelling or the printers, but there's a lot of typos going on and it's disturbing me because that's fundamental when it comes to making books. There's also a lot of telling instead of showing, equally disturbing. I get where Johan gets his motivation but from where does Malin get hers? How come she's so different from society and everyone else? Plus the chronology doesn't add up.

She's a sweet girl. A little naive and innocent which makes the story sound a bit childish. But it seems like that tone will change later into the story. Im not sure if she believes in God or not. Sound like she believes more in sin, but I could be wrong. We'll see.

First she's going up the hill. Then she's suddenly about to go up that same hill. That's a little confusing. First she wants one thing. Next she suddenly wants the completely opposite with a explanation not long enough to make me understand why she changed her mind so fast.
