Would be honest this is a very real character that we would see in real life. Some male are lost and don't grovel as much as what other mmc would do. Angst is there but doesn't kick that hard because of the undeveloped emotional from the mmc and what the fmc experienced is pretty real as most women are lonely and get into toxic relationships like Posy.

“You’re the person,” he says like it’s an explanation.
