Left off Chapter 35. Would absolutely pick up again but just wasn’t feeling it in the moment.

Left off chapter 12, really like the premise, writing and characters but this is a pretty slow paced book / series. 12 chapter in and it feels like nothing has happened. Would give another try tho

Left off chapter 5. Couldn’t get into it right now but would definitely give it another chance

Got to chapter 12. Most of the characters are pretty one dimensional and flat and considering this is the second book, I’m pretty bored with all of them. Probably wouldn’t pick up again

Got to chapter 13. I really liked the premise of this book but it majorly comes off fetishy and not in any way that I’m interested in, also agree with other reviews about the main character not fitting her background / past whatsoever, probably wouldn’t pick this one up again

Got to chapter 26. Would potentially pick up again but there’s a whole lot of cringe worthy stuff in this book and the characters still feel pretty flat considering I’m over half way through

Left off chapter 12. The pov switches are a little infuriating and it feels like there are too many characters for the author to keep up with. Not sure id try to read this again

Left off chapter 11. LOVE this premise and the writing… from rues pov at least. Way too many pov switches tho from guy to guy and almost all of them speak about rue overtly sexually to the point I just feel disgusted by them 😭

Got to scene 7. I think it’s possible I could come back to this and like it, but currently it’s boring me to tears :’) very theatre / Shakespeare heavy which is not my vibe tho lol

Left off on “hunger”, honestly just thought the stories would be more supernatural/cryptid/folklore focused but almost all of the stories I read up to the point I stopped were human based horror/thriller stuff, so just not my vibe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Left off chapter 3. I like the writing style and wanted to get into this considering ness suggested it but unless I suddenly become much more interested in fantasy it’s not for me :/ would potentially revisit tho

Got to chapter 8. Exactly what some of the reviews say, first book was captivating, this one, kinda just tedious. I also actually kind of hate all the guys except saylor so not ideal…

Got to chapter 3, couldn’t get into it, just felt like it should’ve ended after 1 book for me 🤷‍♀️

Got half way through cheater 6. Honestly just sort of boring and confusing. I really want to like this because I love everything else I’ve read from Neil so far but I can’t get into this. The main character shadow is very bland and sort of just *there* and I feel like I know nothing and am still just confused a quarter into the book. Oh well.

Got to chapter 14. Unfortunately another bully romance that takes it WAY too far to me

Got to chapter 34. This book is like a worse rip off of witsec which I just finished reading,it also bugs me how trusting/fast the main character moves along after the shit she’s been through, like in under a month she’s dating two of the guys and they’re calling her family basically but like???And she’s so obnoxiously trusting of the random burly dude living next door who’s not even apart of her harem??

Got to chapter 17. This book is just soooo boring to me for some reason. Idk, I can’t really connect with any of the characters but especially the main character. Like it’s from her pov but she feels so bland and impersonal, like a robot or something. Really wanted to like this book but oh well 😭
