No team has won championships 5 years in a row so saying this hockey team has already irritates me.

I’m not sure I can read any further. In the first few pages the hero mentions that he and the heroine have always had some chemistry. There was no chemistry. None no buildup nothing. I just stopped reading after that. Then I read the ending just to see if it was any better than the beginning. It wasn’t. Also the last name of Casablancas bugs me for some reason.

The murdering and kidnapping of the kids is a tough one.

Cannot imagine why ransom deserves two books. He hasn’t been very interesting in this series.

He’s not written like a typical dark hero. I can’t make sense of Gracin yet. Also why the odd name?

Loved the first story!

I find the female lackluster and judgmental. The hero, Lee, is delicious.

Also dislike that the best friend, who has her own story in Book 3, slept with another guy, her ex, while pregnant with a kid by the guy she’s in love with.

Also not sure how I feel about the female lead being unable to have children and wonder how that plays into her character and her storyline.

Skip to the end. Found the story, boring and contrived. Could not get through the chapters. Felt no connection with either of the characters.

Really disappointed in Nichole, the main female character, cheating on her boyfriend, who is not the main male character. I just find her entire personality to be boring and not genuine or honest.

It took me several reads to understand that “Za’s here” referred to pizza. This is so ridiculous an attempt to sound cool and hip. My enjoyment was immediately diminished.

The hero in this book so far is so eager and open I can’t believe a guy like this exists! Of course the tattooed mafia types or totally believable, right? 🙄But I’m used to them.

Carter just seems so sweet and sub like.

This is a much hotter scene than before

The whole having a straight possibly bi guy or adult male or any adult female giggle is ridiculous. Adult men doing any type of giggling sounds like a serial killer. I do like how much Jeremiah loves Ben’s son though.

This guy just switches over to getting a blow job by another guy easy when he was straight before? He switches to a soft Dom with no background explanation, when minutes before he was crying over his dead wife? None of this makes sense. I was looking forward to this book but the sex isn’t even hot. So disappointed.

What is up with all the bland books these days? I can’t even get into this story. No character development, all basic generic dialogue, such a disappointment. I’m going to have trouble finishing this.

This book is incredibly boring. Where is the tension? Cap is nice, Rae seems nice, they are just getting along and the connection happened so quickly. No building up at all.

Chemistry is back between Hector and Sadie. Thank goodness.

I’m really struggling to get into this book. The beginning started strong, but now I’ve lost interest in both Hector and Sadie.

I’m already bored and I just barely started. What happened to her writing? And a Marquess is not royalty, On people who are part of the royal family are royalty. That whole bit was ridiculous.

Same thing with this as #2 in the series. First 50% is good and then it stalls. The plot is ridiculous. And there are formatting/grammar errors.

I’m struggling with this. I don’t feel the characters, so I took a break and getting back in is tough!
