So far I finished the book "The death cure" by James Dashner I think the book was really good and it was put very well, and I think this was one of the best books by James Dashner. Thomas decided to save his friends and take the test by the Rat Man. He almost did but then Brenda saved him and now they have romantic relationship.

So far Thomas and his crew have escaped from WICKED and it was very hard. They all have the disease the Flare but Thomas, Minho,Teresa,Brenda,Jorge are immune to it and sadly Newt isn't. They all escaped to Denver because at the moment Denver is safe from all the Cranks. Death is on the line. "'I wont get killed if you won't I promise.'" (240) This shows how Death is on the line.

Thomas is literally the problem solver now. He's pretty much saving everyone. He finally figured out a solution to get out of Glade, it was to go to the Griever Hole. Which was just suicide but it was worth a try. Thomas and Teresa and the other Gladers finally made it to the Griever Hole and almost half of the Gladers died but only 22 survived. The door opened and they escaped, now they're talking to the Creator.

In the book Thomas is training with Minho to be a runner, and Alby finally woke up from The Changing. The girl (Teresa) also woke up from her coma, and she can talk to Thomas in his mind. They both have a connection they can't explain. Teresa describes herself as a tough girl. "Keep talking, and you'll be next." (238) This shows how she thinks she's a tough person. Alby put her in the Slammer for one day.

Everywhere Taylor goes she has to do everything right, since she's hanging out with Kat now. Since her best friends are hiding from here everywhere she goes, Taylor decided that she rather have Kat as a friend. I think it isn't nice how her best friends just ditch her for themselves. "'Are you walking with us' Sam and Cat said. 'No I'm walking with Kat.' Taylor said." (154) This means she no longer trust her friends.

I think the main idea of this chapter is Mellie giving a flashback of her past and how it leads to the main idea of the whole story. "Every bed time when I was six," (9) This shows how she was giving a flashback. Mellie has a crazy imagination, which leads her to being made fun of at school.

I think the theme of the whole book is, never be afraid of something you can't do. I think the author Meg Cabot is trying to show even if your Ready or not, you still can do what you want to do. "'Yes' I said with a surprise. "I guess I really am."(237) In this quote Samantha is surprised of the things she is capable of doing.

I think the theme of this chapter is New things aren't horrible, you just have to try them. "What do you mean he isn't used to asking girls out?" (168) This shows that if the character in the book is afraid of asking girls out, so that's what the theme of this chapter is, never be afraid to do something you haven't done before.

Hana

I think the author's craft is that she's trying to show that are you really ready for life and what it throws at you. "Okay, this isn't happening. And yet, apparently, it is." This shows how Samantha the character doesn't know what kind obstacles there are. Samantha never knows whats going to happening to her, but she always deals with it, and that's what the author was trying to do.

I think the theme of this book is that You can't judge a book by it's cover because Car thought that Whitney was very mean and disgusting but she ended up being a great person, and great friend. "I felt more myself, in front of her." (44) This shows that she felt like herself in front of Whitney.

I think the authors craft of my book the 'Boy Project' is the author is trying to show that the first boy you look at and have a crush on won't always be the one you'll end up being happy with. "Things might change... WELL at least your social life." (250) This shows that the author was trying to show that the character (Kara) actually changed from a girl that doubted herself into confident person.

I think the author is trying to show that life isn't perfect, just because your fat or just because your skinny doesn't mean your life is over, you're still alive aren't you? The author is trying to show the readers that it's time to stop being so insecure and love yourself for who you are, In the book 'Life in the fat lane' "I'm not perfect, but I'm okay."(272)This sentence tells me what the author is trying to show

Gregg feels left out. Everyone is always getting what they want in the family, Gregg just gets nothing. For example in the book for Christmas he got a laundry holder, and everyone else got something special. He gets in trouble, but his little brother Manny doesn't. "Mom grounded me for a week, because I said 'ploopy'" (114) This shows that he gets in trouble for foolish reasons.
