I don’t feel like explaining how I know this, but “cocks a brow” or “cocks their head”, appears no less than 20 times in this book.

Do all fake dating/marriage of convenience tropes need characters that keep convincing themselves that all the sweet things they do for each other are just part of the act… “Then I remember it’s just for show…” Then they get all down when they remember it’s fake.
Drives me a little crazy 💀 (I’m still devouring this book)

I’m finding it hard to find any redeeming qualities for Rowan… like he’s not morally grey but hot in a “he’s a criminal” way; he’s not a “young but cool billionaire” that redeems their capitalism with charitable acts (barring one accidental mentorship)…
He’s kinda just a capitalist asshole? Like profiting-from-your-cost-of-living-crisis billionaire?
Kinda creepy? Kinda ick?
