I loved how committed and truthful they were to each other from the start. And it’s kinda a grumpyxsunshine since Leroy is such a grumpy pants but Fox and him fit so well 🥹

I think I liked this book better than the first 🤭

Such a unique dynamic— butterfly scientist and wildlife/parks worker?! Umm, yess please.

I would have loved more slow and detailed scenes of their dynamic and their relationship was a bit fast paced but very cute story.

It had such a creative plot and trope. But… I wish there was more angst and emotional build up. It felt like their connection/relationship just happened out of the blue and there wasn’t enough time before to show the reader WHY they loved each other or what they saw in each other… I also felt like Maddox was so whiny sometimes but overall, it was a fun, quick read.

Taking my sweet time with this book. Every page is bursting with emotion and I know this angst is about to kill me… already a 5 star, as always with any Tal Bauer book.

DNFd @ 35%…. The storyline just wasn’t clicking in my brain and I wanted more communication between the characters 😭
