I don’t have the last book for the series I’m currently reading so I thought a Joe Abercrombie book would be an excellent way to fill the gap.
I love his writing and need to finish this series anyways.

I was reading a different book but my new Joe Abercrombie book came in a couple days ago so everything else will have to wait. I haven’t read this series yet but I’ve heard good things and I loved the First Law Trilogy.

I’ve been putting off reading this book because I watched the tv show 1st and I find that can ruin books for me. But now the show has been cancelled so I’m gonna give it a whirl.
I’m also a little worried because the author died before the series was completed and another author finished it.

I’m glad I came back to this. 😊

I started this a while ago but never finished it.
I loved Kristoff’s Empire of the Vampire so I’m going to give this one another try. I hope I like it enough to finish the series this time.

I’m still pushing through but it’s just the same crap over and over again!!!!

I’m FINALLY on part 2!

I’m just not reaching the 200 pg mark & the rest of the 800+ pages is starting to feel really daunting! I typically LOVE big books. At least when they are written well. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this will take a turn for the better really soon.

Page 240 out of 515 pages & the bad guy’s identity has already come to light….? Idk if it going to ruin the book. I feel like this twist should have come much later. Like maybe the end…?
Ya know the big twist! The big betrayal!

I thought this was going to be an adult romantasy but that did not turn out to be the case.

Going into this I didn’t know this was fan fiction.
I thought I was getting a completely original story. It took me a little bit to move past it.

Is it just me or is this story in many ways a lot like Outlander…?

The crook & flail…. Incredible weapons but how the hell did he know they were there….?
I definitely missed a conversation at some point.

There is a ton of stuff going on. Never a dull moment.

I know everyone of saying they love carrion with kingfisher but Carrion by himself is perfect! He is by far my favorite character!!!

I’ve been busy so it’s taken me a while to get here but the story is almost complete & all the secrets are to be revealed!!!
