Issue 4:

The Kresh are sooooo boring as villains 😭

I just do not give a single gaf about them, they’re literally a faceless holder of bad guys for Zach to shoot.. hopefully the villains get better as time goes on.

Issues 1, 2 and 3.

I’m almost done with the first arc/volume and so far I’m not really digging this as much as I thought it would. The action art is pretty fun and kinetic (that one jump in issue 2 in particular is really good) but the art when characters are just standing around talking.. leaves a lot to be desired.

And there is SO MUCH standing and talking

I have no idea why or when I marked this as read? I’ve never read this. I blame the ghosts in my phone.

Part One.

I’m still kinda processing what I just read so I don’t have much to say yet other than “I am enthralled”

I never knew Jane Austen had such short chapter (complimentary)

The final few pages of this chapter are such a perfect representation of the feeling that cones with having a new idea for a good story

This is easily my least favourite chapter in this book, the other chapters are cruel but this is the first one that feels *needlessly* cruel.

Especially coming off the back of the fantastic Italy chapter it just falls flat.
