Fake dating is one of my favorite tropes to write, and I think it's the reasons behind why they're faking it that make it so fun. A good chunk of the time, they're faking it to throw someone (a brother, a dad, a teammate) off the scent of their real feelings that are developing, and helping them navigate the faking while it turns from fake to real is one of the most satisfying parts to write!

I favor football romance because I grew up in a football family, but a lot of my decisions are business choices. I love the dynamic of different sports and the found family athletes can find with their teams, so sports is a fun place to be. I've also written baseball, and the 5th hero in the Bradley Legacy will be a baseball player.

This is my first runaway bride and only my second virgin in 79 books! I loved the idea of this sweet, wholesome heroine ready to get married and then pitting her against her best friend's bad boy older brother.
