I love the trope where a supernatural person has dual natures and their love interest is the only one who bonds with both. 3.5 stars. The reconciliation romance plot is secondary to the heroine’s return to her hometown for the summer plot.

DNF @30%. This started strong but a book this short needs to be more tightly paced and it didn’t hold my attention.

Literally wheezing and trying to muffle my laughter with a blanket at 6am.

This book is goddamn delightful. Which is not shocking, really.
