Why in fantasy books, the MC always is oblivious or plays dumb to things that are clear as day? Raised to be clueless & full of denial. What’s the point when it ALWAYS ends up exploding at the worst times? And then they act as if their entire life has been a lie when they’ve known all along that something is DIFFERENT about them?
Then as the reader, I too have to pretend Im an idiot?

They beyond freaked out. And greedy! lol they needed another?? Sweet boys didnt get enough attention imo, but hey. It is what it is. They were just the right amount of everything. It’s them girls… NASTY! I don’t even know what to think. I have cringed and gagged because it was a little too much. Too grown for me and I’m 35. (Maybe I just don’t like the word creamy… and they used it A LOT)

With family like that who needs enemies? Good grief. I can’t fathom being hated by your parents in any way.

Im disappointed. On one hand, I knew (partially) what the failsafe meant. I didn’t expect the course that would follow.
I feel robbed of justice. For all the hatred & pain that was forced on nearly their entire world, for it to simply be pushed aside is a little… infuriating.
I do enjoy that Jeri and Greyson end they way they have. Citra and Rowan were robbed not just 3 years but another 170! 4⭐️

I knew there was a reason I liked Jeri. Sly little minx.

The fact that someone is described as smelling like “someone’s son’s credit score” is the reason I hate ridiculous books like this.

What’s the point of even pretending that you’re heartbroken when you give in less than an hour later?
