:( another brand new book that's bugging me as I read. The sentences are very short, lextile level has gone down. All the conversations has become single sentences where it reads like characters are consistently snapping at each other instead of bantering or conversing. Why is this happening? Is this a trend in what readers are wanting because of the influence of AI and the decline in reading abilty?

One of the best examples of consent written in a CIS FM romance I've read in nearly forever; and that's only by Chapter 2. What a great start.

Nope. Too many flashbacks

Cannot get into the story. Zombies are not my thing.

Chapter 11, will try to finish it in book format.

Barely in the story and I might not finish it. I’m not really sure I’m in the mood for a 30yr old virgin heroine. The virgin trope is one I barely tolerate.

Why did I think I didn’t need to read this one? Just the prologue alone was 100% worth it.

Cannot get into this story at all.

Ready story one but didn’t want to continue.

Sadly can’t get into it even after nearly 30% the later books in this series are all very meh. I keep hoping for the magic of my Cameron but no luck.

Chapter 25

We still haven't met the FMC yet. I'm not sure this book is for me even if the original story was decent.

Chapter 22 and had to return book. will continue later.

Just finished the first one. didn't capture my attention enough to want to read the rest.

Still not really into the story. DNf
