Now THIS is the kind of shitty books I can enjoy

Good lord this one is BAD. Almost a fifth into the book and nothing at all has happened, just repetition of her plans over and over, along with constant reminders of how "cool" she is.
Worst part is how inconsistent she is. She keeps going on about how she needs to win people over, yet is endlessly antagonistic toward them

So far it's so silly and bipolar it's actually kind of fun, nothing like the awful thing people make it out to be. But there's plenty of time for it to get truly bad

So far I haven't seen that rape thing everyone brings up in their reviews. There is a mention near the start, but it's background that shapes one of the main characters' mentality. So far nothing else, though

These people don't have personalities. They go from one end to the other depending on what the plot needs.

Man that was close. For a moment it looked like a clever twist on the YA tropes was going to occur, but we're back to being generic

now that's interesting. apparently our mc isn't actually in instalove with the dude, but in a lust-like addiction to his magical mojo.
here's hoping the author doesn't mess it up

I'm still reeling from how the main character and her obvious love interest went from saying less than 3 sentences to be madly in love and knowing everything about each other in HALF A FREAKING PAGE. I'm not even paying attention anymore, it was just that mindboggling.

I'm sorry, did I skip all the chapters where the main character and Alec hang out, get to know each other, find they have things in common, and fall in love?
I mean Jesus, at least Twilight had them chat once in a while. These guys literally have their first conversation AFTER they're madly in love with each other.
I think this is it, the Holy Grail of bad writing I've been searching for all this time.

We're reaching Twilight levels of plot nonexistence. Also, calm down guy, I can take only so many cliches at once before I fling my phone out the window

30 percent and no sign of the plot yet

so we've graduated from "passing out from overwhelming painful memories " to "passing out when the romantic interest stares at me". Neat

I love how we're supposed to side with Adriana against the "jerk" Alec when she's the one hurling insults at him left and right unprovoked. I'm enjoying this book so much.

Oh, man, this book is so bad. Hyper-aggressive main character who constantly derides everyone around her, has superpowers and is most likely a Chosen One, there's the typical "evil" girls who bully her.
This is the most cliché-ridden book I've read since the masterpiece that was Deception by Stacy Claflin, and I'm loving every page of it so far.

This book is boring, and seemly third-wave feministic

Oh uh, right off the bat we get "men are all stupid and rude, women are wise and smart". I hope this doesn't end up a feminist book, I was really looking forward to it

Seriously, much much better than Maze Runner. Why is this not a movie?

this book is hard to read. I already know the south winning the civil war somehow causes a nuclear holocaust, but it's annoying how much he craps on the CSA and how much he shills the US

Well, after buying the four books on impulse it's about time I actually sit down and read them.
So far I like what I'm reading. It's a hundred times better than the awful Maze Runner.

I was thinking the book was getting a bit dull, but it's just me being too tired to read anymore

This is such a great book, and a nice change of pace from the god-awful Hush, Hush I was reading before this.
