So far I really like the mood of this novel. It makes me want to dig deeper into it.

So far so sweet

So far it’s nothing new, but it hasn’t annoyed me yet. I think it has potential to be likable.

Just finished the first arc. This novel is definitely addicting. The characters are people you want to root for.

Okay I have established that I am annoyed by the mc. I believe this is the harsh but soft on the inside character set up? I actually dislike this character design the most because most of the time whole plot hinges on them hiding what they truly feel and as a reader you’re just get irritated. If you love someone be brave enough to but especially the other person already bare their soul.

This is only 256 pages, so it’ll be a short read after the “saving tragic adonis.” It’s Omegaverse so we will see. So far it’s just characters introduction. Not enough yet to gauge whether I’ll continue to drop.

Almost to the end. What will I read next ? :(

Like I am really loving this and I’m sad it’ll end soon.

This novel should come with a lot of trigger warnings. I honestly feel hurt by what Yin Mingzheng gone through . It’s more tragic than “The Moon Is Coming to Me” because in this one what he went through is laid out in pieces. Anyway, I’m glad I picked it up not knowing what to expect. I love Shu Ning and his care for YMZ.

Starting a new job together. Moving to a new place and this time his mom is the one helping them. Also Ms Ha taking them out shopping for their new job was so so cute!

Slowly slowly moving toward completing this novel. More is being revealed about what happened to his mom.

At 55% mark I really thought this was the novel I’m going to finish. But then around 60% I started to be bored. It’s always when couple ms get together and the momentum of the other events around them diffuse or something.

Now I’m just trying really hard to finish this. I’m definitely sad.

This vol started with a bag. I’m living their growth and interactions. They’re both are learning and adjusting to each other needs and wants. They encourage each other. There is no miscommunication thar lead to unnecessary angst because they address it on the spot and they both soothes each other anxiety. They’re so sweet for each other.

So far I’m already loving Chu Yu and his siblings. Lu Shi and his friends are also great. I already lol at a few scenes. I have high hope for this novel. Hoping it won’t be like “A Certain Someone “ where it started out strong and then the momentum just fizzled out.

This novel is getting the same feel like all other novel where the dynamic between ml and mc are too drastic. Also the writing feel so perfunctory. This is my 4th time trying to read this and I’m struggling. 😭

So far it’s okay. I mean I wavering breaking dropping and continuing. It’s also frustrating when one of the main leads is like purposely refusing to accept what is in front of them. Maybe the limited translation is causing the nuisances of unreliable narratives to be buried 😂 but that might be giving this too much credit.
