I’m trying VERY hard to like this, but even the full cast audio is not helping. Diana is just so stupid and naive and mean, and I’m sorry but her grief is no excuse. And now suddenly she’s more powerful than even Samkiel, who at this point I view as a big doormat. Diana is kicking his ass, sleeping with other men, killing everyone in her path and he’s just taking it 🙄 it’s a DNF for me, unfortunately.

Diana is pissing me off! 🙄 to me, she sounds like a child who lost her favourite toy and is throwing a tantrum. Adults don’t get to behave like this, child. Get your fucking shit together! I understand you’re suffering, but when do you become worse than your enemy? Or irredeemable? She’s pretty close to me. She’s being so stupid and is doing exactly what Kaden wants!! Samkiel should kick her ass! 😂

We have a love triangle? 😭 I didn’t see this one coming. She literally chose her girlfriend who hates her over Cross, he cause over Cross, put him in danger, used him, kept things from him, is the reason he is out of his position, and is now whining he won’t speak to her after she said no to his face? Really, girl. You don’t deserve him. I’m still invested in the story but this pissed me off 😂

Ok so… I’m bored. Why isn’t this story moving forward? I feel like we’ve been going in circles since the book started and if Rose says one more time that she can’t tell anyone about her brother and how she’s doing this all for him, I’m going to scream!! I also feel like she doesn’t extend the same understanding and empathy she has towards literally everyone to Kaeror. Does she really love him?

Traveling we go! How cute is jealous Kaeror? 🔥 And I’m intrigued about Rose’s power. It’s getting interesting!

The audiobook is doing its work, but this has been the classic case of underestimating the reader: every information gets repeated 5x whenever something new pops up. WE KNOW why you can’t tell anyone about your brother. WE KNOW you don’t want to leave your sister again and why. WE KNOW what happened with Kaeror. WE KNOW how dangerous your magic is (u told us 100x already) 🙄 let’s move on, shall we? 😂

Started the audiobook right after I finished book 1 and it picks up right where the other stopped. However… this first 10% were sooo repetitive it almost doesn’t seem like the same Rose. The part with Jonas was very frustrating and her going on and on about her sister and the MMC and her house, and how unfair, etc. on repeat… ugh!! 🙄😂 First book was 4,5⭐️, so I hope this one picks up soon, too.

It started right where Dore Bound ended and it was a bit slow, a lot of focus on her sister and Merton being a bit frustrating, but now it started to pick up! Having fun with her and Stark 🔥

I think I’m a bit bored, tbh… I feel like nothing has really happened until now, just basically her being very naive, not saying anything to anyone. Now, she’s finally going on a journey, but it doesn’t really make sense to me that her brother is sending her on a mission to find this special sword if he plainly said he doesn’t trust her at all? I hope she grows some backbone and that it picks up a bit…

Love so far: Arthurian Lore, Arthur being the villain, the MMC is promising, Lancelot as a woman. Struggling with Morgan, though. I do hate overly naive FMCs and she’s frustrating me A LOT so far. Everyone offering her help and she refuses, basically protecting her abuser again and again… 🙄 And she still believes her brother will be kind to her? Come on darling… but it’s my first ARC, so let’s continue.

And I eating it up? 100%. Are all other books I’m reading being left untouched because I can’t put this audio down? Definitely!!

Super into the audiobook already, liking the dystopian meets ancient gods setting and the pace. Now, I was worried for a moment there that Dianna would kick Samkiel’s ass and escape even when he’s supposed to be this super supreme being of beings. I get he’s traumatised, but it wouldn’t make sense and it was pissing me off! 😂 Relieved that it didn’t happen!

This middle dragged a bit, but the story is still very captivating and full of mystery!
