SMH.... I'm really considering DNFing this. I usually like this author's books but this..... I'm bored.

*sigh*sigh* Now all of the errors appear. Where .... when it should have been were. "Do you do know"..... SMH

*sigh* I'm already having to stop reading in order to double check that this is supposedly in the US. *sigh* I hate it when authors don't use the words that an American would use. It pulls me out of the story every time.

He "pressed his heel down harder on the gas"...... Huh? Who's heel is on the gas?! His foot sure but not his heel. SMH....

Duh! Child support isn't for saving for the kids! It's to help the custodial parent take care of the child! Keeping a roof over their heads, electricity, water, transportation, groceries, clothes, doctors, health insurance.... all the things that children need!

Why does Dan seem to be the one leading this. Cops aren't stupid. They know how to do their job. Yet this makes them seem like they're just bumbling along behind Dan.

Turned the page and it now says 2 hrs and 21 mins left.

WTF?! Now at 2% beginning of chapter 1 it's saying 44 minutes left in book.

This is weird. My kindle is saying 39 minutes left in the book. Why?? According to GRs it's 250 pages. That makes no sense.

Why in the world do we need such a long detailed description of the bathroom?!

A room was "brightly lit through the walls"....???

Huh? Nope.

DNF at 34%..... Nope, just not working for me.

Okay.... ummm.... WTF?! The Wishing Tree? In Maplewood, Vermont. A small town that has tons of festivals. ???? This is all somehow not new to me. Is this somehow connected to Rj Scott's Wishing Tree, Vermont?

Cheating. Wish that I had read reviews before I bought this.

The need for more contractions is still here. It drives me insane! Unfortunately, I have to know Jasper's story.

*sigh* Just like in the first book this also needs more contractions. It's just odd ....
