So time doesn't matter to the Shiikuin but Hana and Kei can "give themselves time" by confusing them? I know this is a fairly common plot device but it doesn't really work if you make the foe seem omniscient and omnipotent.

Mostly this is not bad, but the writing is a little clunky. Also, it's very dumb that she has Keishin, who has been presumably speaking Japanese this whole time, ask if he pronounced the word "Hana" correctly. Bitch, what?

On top of everything else, the dog gets hit by a car and dies and I'm not over it many pages later. If this happened to my dog, the rage and heart break would probably kill me.
