Got the ARC and really looking forward to reading this!

Oh this is the goriest one so far!!

I am too old for people to “call me out” when I do a negative review. Why does anyone think it’s ok to question someone about their reading experience? I don’t question other people but yet people think it’s ok to question mine? Reading is for me and I will block anyone that I feel is trying to make me the bad person. I didn’t get on GR to have arguments with people about books!

I want to apologise in advance to all my GR friends if I can’t get back to you if you ask about a book. I am hardly on GR anymore just marking my books off. I have a lot going on in my personal life so I’m focusing on that. Everyone stay safe!

When an author thanks you for reading their books even if it’s negative that’s an author to respect. When a author can’t handle negative reviews or actually tells you what you should and shouldn’t write in your own reviews just because they want only 5* well I find that unethical and frankly unprofessional.

Someone just sent me a message asking why I read bully books if most of them I rate low. My answer is I don’t rate books high just because it’s expected. I have liked some bully themed books when it’s done right. I don’t get why I am being questioned about my reading preferences. I don’t get why some readers think cheating is acceptable in romance books but hell if I will message them to ask them!

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m really not feeling this book

I would like to ask something to people because honestly I’m really interested in your opinions.
When other authors gush about their fellow author’s book because most of them are friends and always gives them 5* reviews even on books that a lot of readers haven’t liked. Do people find that off putting especially when it can be a favoured author of yours doing it? Just curious to know.

I made a promise to myself that if I got trolled on any of my reviews I would ignore them...that lasted until the first one this year and I snapped! Seriously why can’t people just agree to disagree and leave out all the politics? If I wanted to argue with someone I have plenty of people around me, why would I need to come to GR and argue more with people I don’t even know?!

I cannot wait for this book. The blurb sounds so great. Feb 15th is too far away!

Just to let all my GR friends, I probably won’t be doing a lot of reviews this year. With four kids and a new baby my time is so limited. I hope my shelving tags still helps everyone out if they are undecided about any books I have read. Here is hoping for a better year for books and happy reading everyone!!😜

Sorry to everyone for late replies. I gave birth to my 5th child three weeks ago, my fourth daughter Aaliyah who never sleeps and is already such a madam! I miss my reading time so much but hopefully will be back on GR more regularly soon! Happy reading everyone.

Second year in a row I have failed my reading challenge. I think next year I will be a bit more realistic and aim for lower.😒😔

Hi can someone help please?! I need to provide a book link from one of my reviews and my Facebook url but I’m not at all computer literate. Can someone tell me in simple terms how I can copy these details on an application for an ARC I really want. Thank you in advance!

I keep meaning to sort out my TBR shelf as there are so many books I don’t want to read from there anymore. I attempt it and then see how many books I have there, just seeing the amount makes me tired so I end up giving up! I wish there was a shorter process in deleting multiple books from my shelf.

Hi can someone tell me the name of a book I am looking for. From what I remember it's about a female married teacher who has an affair with a student. I think he is in a gang or something and I believe there is a sequel or something. Hopefully someone will know which book/series I am talking about!

Wow just read someone's status and call me naive but I am shocked that people unfriend each other not because of anything personal but because they disagree on a book! I can understand unfriending someone if they were rude (I did that myself recently) but differing over opinions over a book just seems a tad drastic.
