Opted not to read after all. Concept is interesting but seems like a cliffhanger with 6 books in the series so I don't want to get into that right now.

DNF. Lame story and bad narration.

I think my tastes have changed a bit since I started reading romance four years ago. I've found that some of the books I liked back then I don't like now. In Jan 2019 I gave this book 5 stars, now I would only give it three. And I really did not like the narrator.

I never get tired of this book. It's sooo good. I ask you--WHY have they not made this into a movie? Or any of the other books in this series? Passionflix is totally missing the boat on Annika Martin's billionaire books.

I've read the book before so I'm just gonna move on now. I heard the drunken Christmas carols which is the main thing I wanted to hear.

DNF!!! I fell victim to the hype but only made it to 6% before I couldn't take it anymore. It's so effusive and pretentious and unentertaining. I don't need a paragraph of prose between every line of dialogue ala the Penny Reid school of writing. Either write a romance or publish your journals from grad school but don't try to do both in one story. It doesn't work. (All my humble opinion of course, LOL.)

I don't get it.

Can't finish this. Too much going on, long & boring & preachy. The first two chapters gave me chills, then it went in a totally different direction than I expected & wanted it to. Now I know it's a cliffhanger and I just can't read another book like this. Too bad. I liked the idea of a Native American heroine. I even liked Maxim til he became THAT kind of man who thought he could take what he wanted when he wanted.

This is a good book that is free through Sunday if anyone's interested in the ebook.

I was gonna read this but the negative reviews are so detailed and horrendous (and some of them are quite funny BTW) that I don't think I can stomach it so... DNF before I even began! I think it was comparing his erection to a roll of aluminum foil that irrevocably made up my mind not to read it. Come on, that's so ridiculous. I'm disappointed after reading her Phenomenal Fate series which was so high caliber,

I totally recommend this book for Halloween. 68 pages of cuteness by one of my favorite authors Annika Martin.
