Part Four was a surprising mix of decisions that once again really kept me on my toes. What an adventure. Still processing how I feel about the ending, but at least it was a proper ending this time (unlike Congo lol)

Part Three completely read today. Still enjoying, and always interested in how Crichton can do the unexpected so often. I never know what’s coming.

Imagine 20k Leagues by Verne meets Project Hail Mary and you have an idea of what certain major aspects of the book is like so far haha

Not as much progress as I had hoped for the day, but the book is very good so far. I’d argue the cast of characters is the most compelling of the Crichton I have read thus far. Plus the developments of questions is quite fun

Short part 1 done. Better than most of the Crichton beginnings, tho doesn’t hold a candle to Congo’s, but I’m definitely interested. Happy to be reading the Crichton vibe again tho for sure.
