Lamentations:

I don't have anything clever to say about Lamentations. It's a real bummer.

Jeremiah:

Jeremiah: "Because you guys won't stop sinning despite numerous warnings, the Lord is handing you over to the Babylonians."
Zedekiah: "Ok so the Babylonians have been attacking us and winning. Can you ask the Lord to stop that?"
Jeremiah: "You've GOT to be kidding me."

Lots of cool stuff in here that I feel like I need a full college-level class to help me understand, but chapters 52-53 were extremely obvious in hindsight.
