Ultimately I wish mmc would’ve been a bit more bullheaded about the rape scenario. The abuser was her brothers roommate and their teammate he had watched him put bruises on her and didn’t retaliate till the guy calls her a slur to his face. The way the handled it was decent as I was nervous this whole book would be about it. I wished the epilogue would’ve fast forwarded a bit more it was only 4 months

What I did love was the banter. FMC had a smart mouth and I and mmc loved it. I also loved how mmc talked about her how he really loved her as a person and didn’t give a damn about her past hookups or drunk escapades he just wanted her as she was. So for that alone I’m bumping this up

Get back on track cause he’s so disciplined. Mmc decides to help her with her sleep and convinces her to stay with him since she can sleep at his place. There’s some jealousy with an om showing interest and the abuser causing bruising on her wrists which he intervenes. Mmc finally gets jealous and they hook up. The spice is ok and it was cute to see him blow past all his restraint with her

This was a decent read I enjoyed the mmc and his almost obsessive want for FMC once he realized his feelings mmc is a Christian who pledged to remain a virgin till marriage. His bf sister lives in the sorority house next door to his pharynx and he’s always been super protective of her but can’t really explain why. FMC is assaulted by ex and started struggling in school her brother wants mmc to help her
