It almost feels like this book was made for me. Angels, demons, God forsaking humankind, The Plague, Medieval setting, two lovable main characters trying to take care of each other in a world that is on the verge of collapse.
It has been quite some time since a book caught my attention from the very first page. Hope everything keeps being this amazing.

Thomas, Delphine, and Matthieu have such a cute relationship. They're a family now, even if Thomas doesn't want to admit it. I was smiling the entire time reading about their interactions.
The fight between Ra'um, Belphegor, and the angel was just soooo good. I couldn't put the book down; I was really hyped.

Chapter Eight was such a journey. One of the best depictions of Hell I've ever read.
