Yeah, not super sold on the inclusion of fae in a Robin Hood story. Also, so not charmed by our Robin here either. I’ve admittedly only just met him, but he’s coming off as less of a plucky trickster and more of an “alpha male” type. I’ve yet to be sold on the necessity of this being a Robin Hood retelling at all.

Just read a really egregious example where gazes were described as “nettles wriggling beneath her skin”. Are nettles worms? Maggots? Why are they wriggling?
