What a gem of a book! Such a beautiful story on alienation and oppressive social norms. Highlights how a journey for connection can result in being met with violence.
Inherently queer, undeniable feminist and very outspoken on the ridiculousness of gender(roles).
Idk if the author intended for this, but as a disabled person I felt highly represented in the aliens fight with their own body.
