fully expected this but yeah, they can't write women. (i've been woke and reading queer works for too long.) the plot is also going quite slow so far to introduce every single party that'll be involved in the trilogy. also the author really likes his 'one line in a separate paragraph as emphasis' writing quirk and i'm Sick of it

this did came out in 2012 so i'm pretty certain that the author has improved his craft since then because it's rough as fuck to be reading something, and then have it be described again literally the next page like bro please i'm not that forgetful
