DNF @ chapter 6. I really, really want to read this, but there's too much dead mom stuff for me to handle right now.

Reading for the Challenge Faves challenge. I've only read one chapter, and so far the only thing that has happened is that the main character's mom died (off-screen). I can't complain that this happens because it's in the synopsis that I did actually read. Trying the book regardless because it sounds good. Need to have it back at the library in 5 days though, so might switch to the audio book eventually.
