Continuing with the audiobook from chapter 3 because I returned the physical book to the library like a week ago

Reading for the Challenge Faves challenge. I've only read one chapter, and so far the only thing that has happened is that the main character's mom died (off-screen). I can't complain that this happens because it's in the synopsis that I did actually read. Trying the book regardless because it sounds good. Need to have it back at the library in 5 days though, so might switch to the audio book eventually.
