This book is hilarious & I def expected it to be more traumatizing. I'll take it lol. This very young woman infiltrates a monastery, then reveals herself & sets up a priest in the process. So far it seems at least partially like a commentary on men sexually folding under literally no pressure & I'm loving the critique 😂 Okay coffee time round 2! Will report back with anything interesting today 💞

- You may be wondering why I don’t allow our eldest to handle the spiders. Trust me, he would love to, but do you trust him on our semi-enclosed patio several stories up? Me either. He’s not allowed out there lol.
- Our youngest has been having a little anxiety, I was running the vacuum yesterday during breakfast & I will not do that during mealtime any more because it threw him off and he has not left a clean plate since 😂 my sensitive gentle boy, side eyeing the vacuum the whole time. He’s not usually scared of it! (I am being a helicopter mom don’t worry, he seems absolutely fine and perfectly happy otherwise.)
- Could our children be any more different lolol. I realized the other day that although I don’t have health insurance, they’re still fully covered tg in case he needs a vet appt. I love this country!!! lmao
Other Apple notes:
- One thing that came to mind: they’re kinda losing a group of users who will buy the iPhone Duo and then sell/not repurchase their iPad. I see a lot of crossover between those two devices so I’m wondering how they’ve decided to balance planned device obsolescence. Might be part of what they’re trying to make up for with that $2K price tag 😭 cuz I guarantee you their pricing & licensing team considered/discussed implications of lost iPad users in many meetings lol
- People might disagree with me here but idc. The biggest critique I’ve seen online is the same it is every year: “but they didn’t do X first!” Here’s my take: I appreciate that Apple waits until they can do it ‘right,’ or at least don’t rush to bring products to the market. Nobody is claiming Apple is the most innovative, but I personally am not pro innovation at light speed when that results in a half-baked product. I don’t want the beta version that has a creased screen solely because they wanted to beat their competitor to the folding phone market. No offense Samsung lol. There are people that feel the opposite and that makes sense too depending on your tech preferences! This prob goes back to my value for money thing idk. I like my shit FULLY BAKED 😉
- I hope this is interesting for you to hear my thoughts on. I think you like it cuz you can look behind the curtain a bit with what I do & that’s cute. But also feel free to tell me to shut up (ik u won’t lol)
