Finished the second volume, which focuses on Pip's adventures in London, which... are not many. I was expecting to see him face the London society but he is just visiting people and spending money with his bestie. :/. This was a rather boring volume. And I was already suspecting the identity of Pip's benefactor, so it didn't really surprise me. One volume left!

Some chapters are great and add to the story. Others seem to add nothing and are out of nowhere. I cannot imagine reading this as it came out. Also ... reinforcing the idea i don't feel like reading more Dickens in English once i finish this...

Okay, it seems things are finally getting interesting again somehow.
