The start is lovely so far and the angst promising! Hope the trend continues because the last cowboy romance I read is one of my worst reads of the year 😭

Really hoping so! It had a very strong start and the two MCs are very likeable so far. Plus the flashbacks are sparsely used and add to the narrative. If this disappoints me, I think my slump is here to stay 😭

I am also scares for the same reason (aka book). And I also enjoyed the beginning of Down Low so maybe my fear isn't completely gone just yet. Fingers crossed though!

He totally is!!! So far at least. And I did NOT know this had forced proximity and the oh my, only one bed trope. Things just got way more interesting suddenly.

I'm reallyyyy liking it so far (on page 130). My only issue is with Robbie's flashbacks 🙄🙄 I don't give a shit about his deceased father, sorry not sorry! But the couple itself is lovely 🥰 Unless the book goes to hell, I can see a high rating on the horizon.

I wasn't too enthusiastic about the flashbacks either but I assure you that the slow burn between these two makes up for it!

A girl tries. I have to stay consistent 😌 Probably will be my one negative when I try and type a take, if I'm honest. The slowburn so far is *chef's kiss* Plus, I did not expect Robbie to be the flustered and inexperienced one, but I adore that!
