I was honestly loving the book for about 70 percent of it, gushing, swooning, cheering... and then here I am now. What happened? A lot of things. Maybe I truly am a Bookish Grinch 🗿
As it stands, I'm hoping things turn back around because otherwise, I can see myself having yet another unpopular opinion. Y'all, please don't block me 🤡

Just finished this after postponing the last thirty-page for two days straight. I reckon that says a lot. If I type a review for this, expect a very mixed bag 🤪
Robbie was a sweetheart, though. By the time I read the sequel —in approximately a decade or two, probably—, it will be for Robbie and Robbie alone.

Almost 70 percent? I'm not sure, but it was going so well 😭 If things continue down the path I see them heading... not sure it will even matter, however. But thanks for not sending me directly to the stake, Jonbe!

Oh nooo! I confess I hadn’t heard of this till I saw your update. Somehow I missed others reading it recently. It sounds so good. I think I’ll still download a sample. But I’m sorry it went downhill for you. I agree it’s much more frustrating when it starts good and then changes.
