Finished this yesterday. It dragged for what felt like eight whole decades by the midway point, but hey... at least the epilogue was cute? And Castien won me over despite or because of his extreme jerk-ish ways.
Eridan just felt like a second-rate Seyn though

I always have the urge to reread horrible books FULLY believing that I'll magically enjoy them this time😵💫

@Reeva, honestly I did it to my damn self. But tell me why I still have the urge to re-read the other books I disliked from 2021... I NEED TO BE STOPPED.
@Sanju, I swear I'm scrambling for positives over here. I'm trying not to be a hater for once... revolutionary, I know 🤧 but more than patience I would classify myself as an unrepentant bookish masochist. I have no other explanation.
