As Scotty might say: I canna do it, capt'n! I canna change the laws of physics! This book has killed my will to survive. I need some bagel chips, a shower, a mean-spirited review, & another novel to cleanse my wounds. In other words, I'm finished.

LOL.... Hades sat up, his kilt in hand. 'What we both need is a hot bath.' 'Oh yes!' Persephone agreed, then she frowned. 'But if you heat the pool, the fish will die. I think we've done enough damage to them already, poor things.' .....Name the MST3K movie I'm thinking of. Bwaha.

Hades: "Persephone, how is it that no one has ever murdered you?" .........Is he asking for volunteers, you think?

How about some intelligent after-sex conversation? Persephone: 'oh, I ache & I am all sticky.' Hades: 'i hurt you. I did not mean to. I meant to be gentle. You drove me out of my wits.' Perse: 'You are not alone to blame. I am very ignorant & hurt myself too.' Hades: 'I cannot believe you are real.' ....Sarah: 'who wants to play the quiet game?'

Omfg SOMEBODY just take the damned roll & eat it! Or break it in half! WHATTHEFUCKEVER. Just. Stop. Discussing. It.

A romantic moment, courtesy the Two Stooges of Olympus: 'Hades, who to tease her had hurridly taken another bite of his meat roll as soon as he stopped speaking--pretending he feared she would demand that too--had been caught totally by surprise. His eyes bulged as he struggled not to laugh & spray her with half-chewed food.' .....LOL!!! Not.

Hades: "you are accusing me of having a mind that runs along a passage without side entries. Sometimes I fear you are right, but I swear this time I am innocent." ......Sarah: *headdesk headdesk headdesk nosebleed*

Hades: "We are not lost. I cannot be lost. I thought you were asking whether there was a particular place I was trying to find. All I want right now is water, & I know there is water somewhere ahead. I can smell it." Persephone: "if you are thirsty, there is wine in the basket." Hades: "i am not thirsty. If we cross water or wade through it for some way, they may lose the scent..." Sarah: YOU BOTH SUCK SO HARD.

This dialogue is something else. And by 'something else' I mean 'wow, this dialogue really sucks.'
