Um, Kelly, I just checked in my copy and, sadly, it's a direct quote.
Oh, dear.The only way I can imagine that conversation happening in real life after sex is if they were being sarcastic. I've been in relationships where (spoiler tag for TMI) (view spoiler) But saying that in dead seriousness? Ugggghhhh. I just picture her batting her doe eyes like a Disney heroine or something.
I'm glad I didn't get that far in the book. Don't know how Sarah did it. Brave, stupid lassie. :D

@Kelly - I really wish that dialogue wasn't accurate. But I only cut off some dialogue tags to fit in the status word count. o__O@Nisha - Mocking & giggles would be the only reason I'd ever recommend someone read this. :D
