No wonder I love this book with all its old-world country life.

I loved this chapter about the Holy Week and Easter traditions in this German Catholic town near France. 😍

“There’s no such thing as books that ought to be read. Every person has to make his own selection. First of all, he has to find out the books he wants to live with, and then every few years he must reread those he likes best or that mean the most to him…The really great books are always new and different [each time to read them]. They grow with you…” (123).
