When Janis was a child, her dad always made her put away the book she’d brought to the dinner table. He knew she’d try to read it in her lap during family meals. That hasn’t changed much since she’s become an adult.

Janis writes contemporary romance about smart women, stubborn men, and love that lasts. She loves slow-burn romances with heart and happily-ever-afters.

She was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, nestled in the beautiful Treasure Valley. She’s never wanted to live anywhere else. Most of her family lives here and they are an important part of her life.
