Nestled on the side of a Pennsylvania mountain, you will often find her writing at her forest haven where nature continues to serve as her creative muse.

But I am also inspired by the people watching my husband and I like to do when we are out to dinner or having a drink at the bar. We try to figure out situations and possible stories, and the longer we observe, the more outlandish the story becomes. It has always been a hobby of ours, but over the years, it has added to my internal story bank. (less)

During the summer, I worked alone mostly updating student iPads, teacher laptops, WiFi access points, etc. Pippa’s story started to formulate in my brain while I was pushing around carts of iPads and laptops through the darkened hallways of the empty school buildings.(less)

Pam I just found out yesterday that the Visual Bookshelf on Facebook no longer existed. I was truly bummed out. Anyway, it appears that you are currently reading The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. You are not loving it, eh? I have been wanting to read that book for awhile; but, I wondered whether I could get through all the medical stuff. I would be interested in your full review.
