In other people's work to name the exact top of the list. That said Rhage and Mary from the Black Dagger Brotherhood come in the top 10 for me. I can understand her fight, the losses she's faced and the damage her illness has done to her body. Yet he loves her not despite her physical flaws but because he sees her true self, the beauty of her heart and soul - things that don't fade. He lifts her up, he doesn't drag her down and in doing so he finds his own healing. (less)

Back from CoreCon!

The convention itself was wonderful, and I truly enjoyed it. There were also some extra's for us - the meeting with Mr. S.M. Stirling and his lovely wife, Jan.
