Abdelkebir Khatibi (11 February 1938 – 16 March 2009) was a Moroccan literary critic, novelist and playwright. Affected in his late twenties by the rebellious spirit of 1960s counterculture, he challenged in his writings the social and political norms upon which the countries of the Maghreb region were constructed.

عبد الكبير خطيبي روائي مغربي وعالم اجتماع، وأخصائي بالأدب المغاربي. ولد بمدينة الجديدة المغربية سنة 1938، وتوفي في الساعات الأولى من صباح اليوم الإثنين 16 مارس 2009 في أحد المستشفيات بالرباط، عن عمر يناهز 71 عاما، بعد معاناة مع المرض.

درس علم الاجتماع بجامعة السوربون، بباريس حيث قدم مبحثا حول الرواية المغاربية (Le Roman Maghrébin) حيث تطرق إلى إشكالية تجنب روائيٍّ الدعايةَ في سياق مجتمع في حقبة ما قبل الثورة. أصدر سنة 1971 روايته ا ...more
